ClearNow Reports Rent Payments to Credit Bureaus

Durham, NC, June 11, 2007 – ClearNow, Inc., the leader in electronic rent collection for the rental housing market, now enables tenants to report their rent payment data to credit bureaus.

“We pay careful attention to the feedback we receive from our customers,” explained Justin Yung, a Vice President with ClearNow, Inc. “Our customers expressed a need to report their tenants’ rent payment data to credit bureaus so it will help their tenants build a solid credit history.” With this new feature, ClearNow will initially report rent payment data to Pay Rent, Build Credit, Inc (PRBC). PRBC is a credit bureau that produces a PRBC Report and Bill Payment Score that may be used to supplement the credit reports and scores from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion.

ClearNow makes automatic payments a very easy-to-use and reliable method for collecting rent. Once set-up, rents are automatically withdrawn from tenants’ bank accounts and directly deposited into the landlord’s or property manager’s bank account.
